Absolutely superb.I would recommend this to everyone.Really, really top album.

lol. I'm burning a copy of the album at this exact moment. my neighbour's cd. he says it's not great. i'll give you my opinion in a while...

Really??I think it's brilliant. It takes a couple of songs to get going but once On Call kicks in it comes to life....

conclusion after the first listening: very plain. it's too slow. it kicks in at song 12. really like song 13 too. and it's the end of the album. :(
what's with rock/grunge/indie bands nowadays? they start heavy only to become easy listening music? we don't need more Bon Jovi!

I suppose I probably should have told you it wasn't as rocky as their first two albums!! Anyway, don't give up on it yet,I reckon it will grow on you.
While we're on the subject, can we change the subject now?

I blame the 16-24 year old generation and their (bad) taste for the 80s. poppy crap everywhere now. plus, there's not much rebellion going on. they're having it too easy! and as they dictate the music market, we get to get their tastes...

I never did get the 80s revival, & how it has gone beyond those there were there the 1st time around.

That said, I don't get the new-ish rebellion, which I suppose is the point of it all. Watching Kerrang & Mtv2 just makes me shake my head ... I don't understand or see the point of bands like 'Enter Shakiri' & they're flashing rings :?

You're right. Gods, I love the 80s. Pop synths and cock rock guitars... But this 80s revival is a sham, it's missing the point entirely: excessive amounts of digital reverb.

Alas, rocky is what i want these days! spring's on the way (wait till after easter tho) and i need music to express this and my new life! enough of the wintery softy 'let's stare at the gaz fire while eating pot noodles' music.
time to look at the sun and chew in some freshly slaughtered beef!

They used to rehearse in the same studio as my old band. They had a shit load of merchandise in one of the rehearsal rooms. Was tempted to take a free t-shirt but never bothered in the end....
