I'm also blown away by the bizarre coincidence of them both being in town at the same time! I am definitely coming to the Columbus show, and will be at the Newport gig as well.

AHAHA! Oh, I do appreciate you keeping it clean. When I visited Dublin last summer I asked a police officer for directions and he said my destination was quite far away and before I knew what was happening, I heard the words "Well you could just give me a ride!" come out of my mouth, even though in my head all I heard was "Lift! Lift! FOR GOD'S SAKE JUST SAY LIFT!". He and all his fellow cops had a good laugh at that, as you can imagine.

So, no, no Dubliner in me (my husband is Welsh) (OH NO SHE DIDN'T!), but maybe I've watched 'The Commitments' one too many times? ;)

Phil Lynott would be proud of you, Muldog!

All this fuss, and now no new people in a whole month!

It makes Eoin a sad moderator.

Hi, I'm new. :)

It was mostly the pretty sign up here that drew me in.

Also: I am not Irish. I had no idea who Phil Lynott until I googled him. Turns out he even has a statue in Dublin. Nice.

Yay I get to welcome a new person. *wave* So if you're not Irish tell us where you are from? Tell us a little about yourself :D
