Postby the bellies » Wed Apr 15, 2009 4:15 pm

To mark International Record Store Day (http://www.recordstoreday.com), one or some of the band (it's a bit tight in there) will play in Road Records, Fade St Dublin this saturday April 18th at 12 noon.

Also performing are Jape and Neil Hannon, with more to be announced - check https://twitter.com/RoadRecords (yes, they tweet - who'd a thunk it?!)

I think that you know in your heart what the right answer is here

Bearing in mind that it's possible you might not get close enough to even see the door, let alone see in the door, I'm going to suggest you save yourself the journey and watch it on youtube on Sunday.

Good call. Who may we administer the job of cameraman to?

I could operate the camera but I'd need a guarantee that the boys will play Black Betty.

By the by, I presume most folks don't need reminding what this is all about but what the hey ... If you are going to any of these organised free gigs, no matter where abouts in the big bad world you are ... Buy a cd or 2 while you are there.

Squeezed into the shop for this. Short set with Paul and Dave, Lisa joined them at the end:

Anyone get any good photos or video from Saturday? I was right up at the front so I thought it would be a bit rude to stick my phone in their face….but I’d love to see anyone else’s.

Bought Lisa's album and got it signed, loving it by the way.

I really enjoyed it, especially as Paul asked the crowd for a request for a song and I suggested “Light catches your face” and he dedicated the song to me!

I’m still on a high from it, haven’t really come down off cloud 9 since, I'm still replaying in over and over in my mind.

Thank you Paul x
