getting back to Lisa Hannigan, saw her last year at the Ruby sessions around the time she released the album, she was good but seemed nervous and not used to being the centre of attention, saw her supporting the Swell Season at the National Concert Hall and wow, she was awesome and glimpsed at EP this weekend and she looked totally at home on the main stage....I think she's just going to keep getting better and better....

to be honest I do enjoy the swell season but i LOVE the frames....back in the day I'd go see them about three times a year and after a few years of that, it did start getting a bit "samey", same stories, same songs, familiarity breeding comtempt, but it's been so long now I'd just love to see them again...thought the encores were brilliant and the acoustics of that room are amazing (s'pose they'd wanna be being the NCH n' all!)...but no I never get sick of Glen and his monologues or reading!!!

Yeah, but everybody knows that Dublin is "where it's at".
