lol, I doubt that. I wonder if they're gonna put the photos on their site, or what? Would be fun to see. I think I looked as if I've just seen God, or something... haha

I'm a fairly broad young lad but I'm only 5'8ish which isn't exactly lanky. Taller than Dom though

What was the crowd like for them? and did you see Brian? :)

Oh i wish i'd gone. but that's the past now. keep telling myself it was ultimately the right choice. it was it was it was...

anyway, let us know more about our protégés gigs. and is it true it didn't rain down there?

I stumpled across this ... For those in Belfast. Seems the Spiegeltent is rolling into town.

Fionn Regan
with special guest David Geraghty

A native of Bray, County Wicklow, Fionn Regan came to wide attention with the 2006 release The End of History on the influential Bella Union label. The self produced debut album met with widespread critical plaudits, Mercury and Choice award nominations, and the single Be Good or Be Gone has been used in the television dramas Grey's Anatomy, Nearly Famous, and Skins.

Bell X1’s David Geraghty has just released The Victory Dance, the multi instrumentalist’s follow-up to the Choice prize nominated Kill Your Darlings
"The band that is now the core of BELL X1 but at the time had a lead singer called Damien Rice - and what became of them all - sank into obscurity no doubt!" Dan Hegarty, 2FM 2006 (with tongue firmly in cheek)

I was at Dave's gig in the Pavilion in Cork tonight. Really enjoyed it, the band were great and he played a good mix of songs from both albums. As well as the usual bit of banter :D

Setlist was:

Emperor's Hand-Me-Downs
Watch Her Win
Soft Spot
Instant Sunshine
Fear The Hitcher
Cracked Skull
Last Time Around
Wear Out Your Name
Back Seat
Delgadina
Tuesday's Feet
Ragdoll/ Use Me
Kaleidoscope

Encore:
Long Time Running
All the King's Horses

Can't wait for the album. The free download song is brilliant.
