Jobe - The shadow in the sky

Postby Eoin » Fri Jul 31, 2009 12:55 pm

People of Bellyland,

I don't abuse the forum much for my own nefarious purposes, so today I am making an exception. Shameful self-promotion will now follow.

I've made an album called "The shadow in the sky", which is available from today to download for FREE from my website at http://www.jobe.ie. You can also buy it on CD through the shop on the website (€14, which includes postage), or through Road Records in Dublin (for €12).

I don't know why 'free' is in capital letters, it just seemed like the thing to do.

Well done mister! Delighted all the hard work and late nights have finally come together for us to enjoy! Can't wait to listen to it. :D
And by the time we stand on our own two feet, we're standing there alone.

If you tried to get your friends and other interested parties (those who'd be buying it anyway) to buy it during the same week it could chart, which could help build a profile. If you're interested in that kind of thing

With Road or through the Jobe shop? The shopping cart on my website wouldn't calculate postage for me, so I just made the CD a flat rate with the postage as part of the price.

There might be a few copies available in a shop in Galway in a few days.

Really? In that case, that Jobe website is a total ripoff. :)

I just purchased it on the Road site too. I was cracking up because I paid 1 euro more for your cd than for Dave's new cd that's coming out on the 28th.

Congratulations again, Eoin!

I think Road Records is sold out already... which is nice. Now if it can just sell out 100 or so more times...

Em, yeah, I understand there are none left in Road. They only take like 5 at a time or something.

You should have downloaded first, in case it's shite. ;) Thank you, anyway, hope you like it! Likewise for Redgrelda and Peter. :)
