Where in the World ?

Postby Mully » Thu Oct 01, 2009 2:56 pm

Sadly not the return of the much missed Theresa Lowe, but a survey of the countries we bellyboarders have visited. I'm presuming we are a well travelled bunch so lets see how many we can rack up ...

If someone has mentioned it already, don't repeat it.
Also, overnights & stopovers in airports don't count !

We'll start with home sweet home

1. Ireland.

No not one at a time ... I just didn't want to sound like Judith Chalmers in the opening post.

To be fair, we should probably divide the US and China into States/provinces.

I've been in New York State, but I don't feel that really qualifies me to suggest that I've "done" America. :)

I can add Mexico, Jamaica, and the Cayman Islands (although I think that's considered UK, technically).

I'll be back if you decide to divide the U.S. into states!

So, we can't mention ones that have already been mentioned? Cos I double on a lot of those...but can add:

Cuba, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Mexico, Slovakia, Oman, Finland, New York, New Jersey, New Mexico, Massachusetts, California, Texas, Nevada, Arizona, North Carolina, Malta, Wales, Tanzania, Fiji, Haiti.

In the past year alone I've been to Ireland three times, England twice, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Cuba, various American states, Mexico, Spain and Italy and next month I'm going to NZ and Oz again via a few days in Dubai, then December is Dublin for a stag do (oh my God!) and Finland for the day. And I should be going to Africa for a few days next week but have had to postpone it til next February. On my wish list for next year is a trip to Afghanistan.

My carbon footprint is disgusting. Disgusting. Loan me a shovel! Show me some saplings! I must repent.

Ooh, and I forgot Poland and Albania. Sorry, Poland. Sorry, Albania.

And Austria, Holland and, let's face it, I'd need to get my passports out at this point and check them both.

Oh, crap. I forgot about Canada. Sorry, Canada. Although, really, I've only been to Vancouver, so I haven't been to a lot of Canada.

So, your location status is factual, I see. :D How wonderful to be able to travel to so many places!
