Yes it's that time of the night where I've sat down and just want to depress myself to sleep knowing that I will be much happier in the morning but I am looking for the most depressing songs ever off people. Obvious ones are more than welcome cos I'd like to hear what people consider depressing. I'll start
Accidental Babies - Damien Rice
Colourblind - Counting Crows
On The Evening Train - Johnny Cash (Cover I think)
In Every Sunflower - Bellx1
October - Divine Comedy (U2 cover)

Duke Special - This Could Be My Last Day
Placebo - My Sweet Prince

The Smashing Pumpkins - Crestfallen
Nine Inch Nails - Something I Can Never Have

I should probably have used the opportunity to slip a little Jobe in there. I'm told my album isn't as upbeat and cheerful as I thought it was.
Jobe -

Well it was all very simple really. X Factor was on in the background (cos I'm a man and I don't watch it. I was playing waka waka on Facebook instead) but Colourblind by Counting Crows came on and it reminded me of Behind Blue Eyes by Limp Bizkit which are 2 really depressing songs and it just kind of spiralled from there

What exactly do you mean by 'depressing songs'? Do you mean listening to them makes you feel sad? I can't think of any music that does that, except maybe really bad music, saccharin pop or elevator music... I'm confused.

It's like his saxophone is crying out the suffering of the entire humanity. And yet, there's hope. A piece of genius. Note the amazing solo at 3mn 22.

I know its slightly off centre, and not exactly dinner party material, but I did a fart in bed on Sunday morning that sounded depressed ... it was pretty funny
