Just a quick post to say i do get it and it is funny, and i loved how it was worked into the end of alphabet soup, at the killareny gig :)
and the response to the psalm is reacharound,

FYI for the non footballing readers here, the Man Utd player, Gary Neville, his dads first name is Neville !

Basically Paul was saying that the people in the seats were like away fans, then started talking about how in old trafford away fans sing neville neville thats your dads name, he explain the reason behind the chant a few people chuckled and he said do you get it ......silence, then near the end of alphabet soup he sang the lyrics, "Neville Neville thats his dads name, dont you get it, its funny"

well i taught it was funny :)

don't they sing that chant to the tune of a Bowie song? careful now, the cultural reference police will spontaneously combust over this one... they won't be able to cope with the multiple layers of references...
