Probably not, I don't think it's a terribly punctual affair.

ok. can't promise anything then.

went to the NCH, to see Metropolis with a live orchestra. had never seen it and quite enjoyed it.
And by the time we stand on our own two feet, we're standing there alone.

Oooh, looking forward to that in the cinema, without orchestra.

I saw Universal's Dracula a few yrs back with Kronos Quartet. Damn fine.

In other news, I went to see 'The Like' on Saturday ... Better on record than live which must mean kudos to Mark Ronson twiddling the knobs.

Finally got around to logging in again - haven't posted since March! That's what a new job and cross country move will do to me. I'm looking forward to the US acoustic tour, but I haven't bought any tickets yet. Most probable shows are Philly and Pittsburgh; I'm still considering Ann Arbor and maybe even San Francisco (can I afford to be this crazy?). Lots of other shows coming up too - The National in 2 weeks, then Roger Waters, a new band called forgetters (featuring ex-Jets to Brazil lead singer), and haven't even thought about November yet!

hope you've all been well,
Stasia

Saw this last night, enjoyed it but was expecting more sci-fi (I'd only ever seen 2 4secs clips before) than the socialist propaganda it is ... As I said, enjoyed it.

I know what you're saying but again, at the time, it must have been a ground breaking movie with plenty of special effects.

Gonna try to get to this one as well, December's looking like a great month for gigs - Villlagers, Arcade Fire, Two Door Cinema Club and The Frames off the top of my head.

Did anyone get tickets to any of The National's gigs at the Olympia? I was on ticketmaster at 9am the day they went on sale and managed to miss out on all three. :x
