Hey all,
This mainly aimed at the Cork folk really. Some of you might be interested in this gig i'm involved in with College. The show is basically a project we were assigned for the year and promises to be a pretty kick ass night - quite looking forward to it. Here's the official word:

On the 7th of March Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa will celebrate the twentieth anniversary of music at the college with a gala event in the Everyman Palace Theatre. Organised and presented by the current Higher National Diploma Music class, this event will showcase the breadth of talent that has emerged from the course since its inception.
Long recognised as an invaluable resource to Cork’s vibrant music scene, the course has equipped hundreds of students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in every aspect of the industry. Performing on the night will be past pupils Mick Flannery, Niall Connolly, Ten Past Seven, Áine Whelan & Sara Corkery and O Emperor.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the development of a dedicated Performing Arts Centre at Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa. This centre will focus instruction of all performing arts in one purpose-built location.
The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are priced at €18.00 and €15.00 and are available from the Everyman Palace Theatre.

Bellies fans should certainly check out O Emperor, Mick and Niall, if you haven't already done so. Ten Past Seven are amazing but may be a little too instrumental for some people's tastes. Not too familiar with Aine and Sara's music myself, but i gather it is folk based, acoustic guitar and dual vox.
