It is interesting but not free and can't make it myself. if you're going, let us know how it was.

and you're not alone if you're a bellyfan.

I'm also interested but Kilkenny is probably 4 hours away so no dice I'm afraid. Keep us informed

I'm 6 time zones away. Not a chance, sadly.

Clearly I live on the wrong part of the globe.

Thats a very defeatist attitude ...

I'll let you know for sure. Would have thought a Noonan solo gig would be the cat's meow no matter the distance. I'm told he's never done the solo thing before. A treat it'll be.

Very good Rock.
Saw him at EP with Lisa Hannigan but not by himself.
I'd say this is a first.

He joined Lisa Hannigan on stage at Body and Soul in 2007 EP but at 2006 EP, he did a solo stint at the Big Tree stage. I really wanted to go, but got lost after having a bit too much. But 5 months later, I saw a random clip of it and there I am so I have no memory of it but I was there

who?
I still have no memory of being there. YouTube was a new phenomenon and my brother found the clip (don't know who took it) online because i was gutted to have missed it....then i realised i was not only there but at the very front jumping up and down.
its kind of reassuring though....at least i know where i was....

Great show from Paul and Gavin last night. The bridgebrook arms is a lovely spot and was perfect for the occasion, very enjoyable evening for a worthy cause. Well done to all involved.

This was the set if i remember correctly, the order could be wrong.

Godsong
Rocky took a lover
Next to you
The ribs of a broken Umbrella
Bad skin day
The trailing skirts of God (New song)
Light catches your face
West of her spine
The Immaculate confection
The great defector
Flame

Encore:

Make me down a pallet on your floor (Gillian Welch cover feat Gavin Glass)
Eve, the apple of my eye
