listening to both of these, intro sounds very similar. Is Springsteen an influence?

Interesting spot ...

They tag Atlantic City on at the end from time to time, so Springsteen is part of the band alright.

As for the intro, As it comes from the Juniper days, Rice's influences would be more in question. I might have a a version of 'Never' at home to see if the intro was always there. Will check.
