I read a few books on holidays ... I'd recommend them all, alloqwing for the different subject matter.
'Easy Riders, Raging Bull', Peter Bliskard.
Account of the players who changed Hollywood in the 70's. Taking the power from the Producers/studios & placing it in the Directors hands. A must for cinephiles.
''The Greatest Game Ever Played', Mark Frost.
An account of the 1913 US Open ... A fantasic read for fans of golf.
'Child 44', Tom Rob Smith.
A Cold War thriller about a russian soldier who becomes disillisuioned in the State he loves, as he searches for a child murder that the State denys exists. A debut novel that was a real page turner, I just wanted to keep reading on.
"The band that is now the core of BELL X1 but at the time had a lead singer called Damien Rice - and what became of them all - sank into obscurity no doubt!" Dan Hegarty, 2FM 2006 (with tongue firmly in cheek)
